Lust

The ever-brilliant Dr. Ebru of Chic Science tagged me on Twitter to show my Lust Must.  I took a gander at Polyvore which I can use to clip various images on the web and bring them into a nice cohesive visual template.  I sometimes surprise myself with my complete technology illiteracy.  I failed at Polyvore, which is kind of like saying, "I failed at mouse."  Regardless, some lust is a-brewing so here they are in no particular order.

Suqqu Fall 13:

I was originally going to bypass most of this collection all together.  The 4 pan (split pan) format didn't look all that interesting to me, but stupid blogs.  The Internet is a dangerous, dangerous place.

  • Driveller Kate swatched EX-17 Hatsushimo here and duped EX-16 Benichagasane here
  • Nicole swatched EX-16 Benichagasane here, EX-15 Hanaazuki here, as well as the LE face palette here.
  • Selphia has all three palettes with some pan color comparisons to other Suqqu here
I've been loving the Suqqu Creamy Glow Moists from Spring and also looking to acquire another.  This is EX-13 Beniaka

THREE AW 2013 Rock Ur Life Collection:
The colors look cohesive and striking.  The palettes look especially delicious.
As I mentioned, the internet is a dangerous place.

  • Selphia beautiful pictures of these palettes plus some already in the range here.

ADDICTION Tint Shadows collection for Fall 2013.  Lots of new interesting products were released with this collection.  I'm especially excited for the new Cheek Polish (shown here in Revenge) and the new Ready to Wear quad in Departure.
  • So Lonely in Gorgeous has counter swatches of the Cheek Polish shades here.
And finally, Tom Ford Orchid Haze (shown here in the middle).  Still on my list. Yes, indeed.  This is a down and dirty counter picture I took.
You have dirty thoughts about makeup, too?

    1. Gummy must be obeyed! :) I can't wait to pick this up. I'm still a tiny bit tempted by She Wolf, but I think I'd rather Orchid Haze. ORCHID HAZE!! :DD

  2. I don't know anything about the THREE eyeshadow formula, but OH, how I want 09! I'm even thinking about 07 though I never wear blues. Along with a few other THREE liners...

Yup, the internet is dangerous :D

    1. I've heard mixed things about the THREE eye shadow formulas, but HEY! Still lusting after them!! :)
07 for your pale pale skin would be totally to die for! YES YES YES. I love the one liner I have, but since using Pixi ones, I'm not convinced I need the THREE. Are you loving the THREE?

    2. Yeah, I've never heard straight-up raves on the eyeshadows. That's why I didn't immediately order, I guess. (Also, YIKES, the price on Ichibankao!!!)

I have one THREE liner and I adore it. It's shimmery - a complex, lovely, non-eye-poking shimmer, while the Pixi are matte and darker, too. The THREE range has lighter shades that still work for defining the eyes. I want at least two more. They are expensive, but I really think if you'll use the color, they're worth it?

    3. Yikes the prices on ALL ICHIBANKAO. OW OW OW.
I think I have 06 Eye Kon and it's the most incredibly complex taupe. I feels like a dream going on and lasts so well. I notice I mostly stick to my one brown Tom Ford pencil so I'm trying to limit my pricey eye liner purchases. But I agree that if you love and use it, they are very much worth it.

    4. I kind of justify the eyeliners by saying that, at $40, it's not MUCH more than Chanel + tax. But the quads are about $85. Which is a lot.

I have 07 (also taupe) which I love a lot, and I want 05 (that shimmery black) and 03 (that burgundyish shade)... But yeah, if you stick to one, it's really not worth it.

    5. They have deal of 2 pencils and a duo in November. I think that works out to be 90 or something. The black isn't as creamy as 07.

  3. Your list is so dreamy. I love She wolf better than orchid haze. She Wolf should be permanent. Thank you for doing the Lust Must List :))) XO

  4. I got EX-17 Hatushimo because Swatcharama reported that it's moving pretty quickly in London and Japan. :X My THREE palette and blush are on their way from Ichi and I am butt-clenchingly anxious about them. Fall/Winter makeup collections will be my downfall. Terse sentences from stress. :P

    1. I am super keen on hearing about how you like EX-17! That grey/olive green color was stunning but I wasn't sure that light pink and lavender shades would work for me! Pretteeee though.
      Butt clenching! LOL

    2. I would buy a palette of mustard and poo brown hues if somebody told me it was on the brink of selling out. :(

    3. Wait a minute! I think Three has that very brown/mustard e/s duo!! ;)

  6. Those Suqqu palettes are definitely danger, dirty-thought zones for me. Esp after I heard/read somewhere that Selfridges is going to start offering international shipping, not sure how the price will compare to ichibanko, though (which is already high!!)

    1. If the shipping is comparable to what they charged to ship from the counter, inchibamkaoay be more reasonable if you buy one or two things. The good thing about ichi is all the other brands you get too!

    2. V. true. Does Ichiban-ko stock Three as well? I guess it is. Well, about Polyvore, don't beat yourself up, yet. I, too, sometimes feel like I'm the only person who cannot use a piece of technology. Then I also thought, someone who do a great job blogging/polyvore-ing/youtube-ing must have LOTS of spare time to do so. I mean LOTS.

    3. They stock pretty much everything! (sadly for us)
During my little Labor Day break, I felt urges to blog but man, is it a time suck. And Polyvore is very intuitive. I'm just duh... with new things.

  8. My fantasy--to go to London, not for all the cultural offerings, but to march straight into Selfridge's makeup aisle and test/buy Suqqu till my credit card weeps. For now, some restraint...I want Orchid Haze, it looks so beautiful. How is it you got the pink one instead? Your post on that heartache made me nearly weep, I've made sooo many makeup mistakes too, I'm done buying online without swatching first. Thanks for your pretty pics and enabling!

    1. :) Hopefully a trip to London will encompass the Selfridges trip + all the neat cultural things. I hear you. I also will need to visit Selfridges.
I played with the pink one at the counter and it was really really pretty. It just didn't translate on my eyes with the same level of oomph. I always try to prioritize the LE versus the perm (Orchid Haze).
